Delivery

​

1. Where do you guys provide service?

     

     We currently conduct business all over Bangalore. Post placing the order, our customer service team will get in contact with you to confirm delivery address.

 

2. So what’s the delivery fee?

​

     Well, we very, very rarely charge a delivery fee. For almost all our orders, the delivery charge is zero. However,if lift is not there and the house is on not on ground floor then lifting charges of Rs. 200 will be applicable.

​

3. Will I be able to choose the time of delivery?

​

    We’re quite an accommodating bunch. Soon after you place an order with us, our support staff should contact you to enquire about delivery timings. Should you have a preference, you can communicate the same to them to see if it can be arranged.

 

4. When can I expect delivery of the awesome products I ordered?

     Very soon. Within 72 hours to be precise. Unless you choose a different delivery slot that is outside the 72-hr margin. However, should there be unexpected delays and holdups, you will be informed about it as soon as it comes up. But rest assured, that rarely happens.

 

5. I need to change the delivery timings. Is it possible to reschedule?

     We would appreciate if any plans to reschedule are communicated with us at the earliest. You can get in touch with our support team at 096-06104444.

 

6. Should I grab some tools and install the products myself?

   

     Kindly do not do that. We provide installation free of cost. In fact our delivery executives are trained in the art of product installation so that everything is all the more convenient for our customers. We request all customers to refrain from attempting to install the products yourself. Should the product sustain any damage from incorrect installation, the customer will be liable to pay for it.

 

7. What if I dislike the product at the time of delivery?

     

     We’re sorry to hear this. Please let us know what when wrong so that we can try to fix it for you. However, we have a 24 hour no-questions-asked return policy which allows you to return the product to us within 24 hours of delivery without citing a reason. The caution deposit or other payments you made against that order will be duly refunded to you as per our policies. You can either opt to return the order to us or let us know if there’s a way that we can provide an alternative.

 

8. I changed my mind after I placed an order. How do I cancel?

     Boo-hoo. What happened? Should you wish to cancel an existing order, simply call us up at 096-06104444 or email us at support@guarented.com. like a friend and say “Cancel kar de bhai” and we’ll do it for you.

 

9. What are the brands that are available with you?

​

     We stock different high end brands across different categories. Do go through our catalog to see what we stock. However, we may not be able to promise that we’ll provide you with a certain brand alone as they may be subject to availability. If you wish to order a specific brand, you can ask the support team to find out if they can arrange that for you.

10. Can I place an order for a specific brand?

 

     Again, such things cannot be guaranteed always. However, if you prefer a specific brand, you can make a request for the same. That said, all products we give out are tested rigorously to ensure quality, so the brand as such will barely make a difference in the performance of the product. Plus, the repair and maintenance service is on us. You have almost nothing to worry about!

11. Will I get to rent brand new appliances and furniture products?

 

     You may. However, keep in mind that most of our products are sanitized and extensively refurbished goods that can rival the quality of brand new ones. While we can give you some guarantee on quality, we can’t always ensure that a new product will be given to you. We do stock new, unboxed and unused items as well. Get in touch with customer support for additional details on the quality and age of the product you ordered.

Rent & Tenure


1. Is there a minimum duration for renting?

​

     There is no minimum tenure as such, however if you rent for less than a month you will have to pay the entire one month's rent.

​

2. What happens if I did not terminate the lease even after expiration of tenure?

     We will send Ninjas to get the products back. Kidding. When you do not terminate the lease even post tenure end, you simply get extended to a longer tenure. When you move to the next tenure band, the monthly rent would be reduced. Don’t worry, we do not automatically terminate your lease at end of term.

 

3. I’d like to discontinue use of the product. Can I cancel before the tenure is up?

 

    Sure thing. We do allow customers to cancel before end of lease term. In your dashboard, you should be able to find the option to do that. Any pending monetary adjustments will be made against your caution deposit. Example, if you initial choice of term duration for a top load washing machine was 9 months, the rent applicable would have been INR 630/- per month. If you do not wish to continue for 9 months and instead decide to stop at month 5, the rent applicable would be INR 700/- per month. This means you’ll pay an additional INR 350/- . Essentially less the duration, higher the rent. So even though you opted for 9 months, in the end the you only used the product for 5 months. So the rent for a duration of 5 months would apply and you simply pay the difference.

 

4. What is the refund policy for premature termination?

     Guarented decides monthly rental charges based on the tenure a customer opts. We currently have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-30 and 31+ months packages with the one month option having the highest monthly rent and the 31+ bracket having the least monthly rent. As the number of months in the package increases, the per month rent decreases with it. In case you opted for 6 months but chose to terminate after month two, your revised monthly rent will be that of 2 months.

For instance, if you chose to rent a refrigerator 6 months, at a monthly rent of INR 789/- and you choose to terminate the subscription after two months, the rent would be updated as per the rates for 2 months, which is INR 1649/ month. Likewise, if you choose to terminate by the fourth month, the rent would be that 4 months.

However, as you have been paying the rent as per the charges for the 6 months package, the difference in rent will now be deducted from the security deposit that was put down by you. Assuming no other damage has been sustained by the product while you were using it, the remaining amount, (security deposit minus the difference in rent) will be what you receive as the refund when you terminate your rental subscription.

 

5. Can I pay the entire term’s worth of rent upfront?

   

     Of course you can! We love it when you do that, you may even get a discount! Do get in touch with our customer service executives for more details.

Payments & Refunds

 

 

     1. Do I have to pay an advance or a security deposit?

​

     Well as much as we hate the idea of security deposits, they are a necessary evil. So yes, we do charge a caution fee while you rent something with us. For each product, the catalog will display the exact amount to be paid as caution deposit. Sorry about this one.

​

2. What is the late payment fee charged on delayed payments?

​

     A grace period of 30 days will be given to you to clear the outstanding dues. Failing to pay within that period too will invite a penalty of INR 50/- per day for each additional day you delay the payment by. To avoid further hassles, we recommend that you stay regular with your rent payments.

 

3. How should I make the monthly rent payments?

​

     Again, you should be able to do that through your dashboard. If, for some reason, you are unable to do so. Tell us. Get in touch with our support team - support@guarented.com.

 

4. The due amount displayed in the dashboard is incorrect. What do I do?

 

     How on earth did that happen? Its unlikely that the amount is incorrect. But reach out to the customer support team at info@digitalezzy.com immediately and report it to them. This issue should be addressed within 24hrs.

 

5. I want my security deposit back. When do I get it?

 

     Give us 7-9 business days. After picking up the products and quality check and adjustment of any dues post lease termination, the security deposit will be refunded to you within 7-9 working days. An email will be sent to you after product pickup to collect your bank details so that the money can be sent refunded to you.

6. I’ve got a coupon. How do I apply it?

​

     Coupons can be applied online while placing the order. At the checkout, there’s an option to enter your coupon code and redeem it. If the code entered was valid, the discount will be reflected on the final billed amount.
